I'm an independent filmmaker struggling to work my way up the ladder to my ultimate goal and that is to direct and produce feature films regularly.

Unfortunately, I don't have a rich uncle, or any influential friends who can help open doors to finding financing for my films.  Filmmaking is very very VERY expensive and that's why I'm reaching out to you, my new online friend, to lend a helping hand.

Maybe you can spare a dollar.  Maybe you can spare five bucks.  Maybe more perhaps.  I'm not begging.  I'm just simply asking you to support a cause/struggle that maybe you can relate to and that's someone going after their dreams.  Can you contribute to the act of creation by enabling me to create art.

I figure I can make a feature for $50,000 if I were to use Video instead of film, I can make it well for $100,000, and I can make it extremely well for $1,000,000.

That means, that if only 10,000 people each donate $5, I've got a movie! Seems worth a try.
